One way we decided to raise money for the well was by holding a bake sale. Each member of our team picked something to bake, from brownies to cupcakes to cheese breads. We held the bake sale at the Zakat Foundation Delaware Center on a Tuesday after the weekly tutoring classes.
A few of us also attended the Islamic Academy of Delaware Book Annual Book Fair and set up a booth there to raise funds. Kids enjoyed making their own personalized du'a books at the Zakat Foundation booth.
